So I was bouncing around quite a bit between 3 different farms sites the past two years, so I got way behind on the website! But we are now officially completely on ONE location, and now things are beginning to get back to a rhythm. Speaking of, kicking off the last of 2021's kids, Iris had her twins, a loud dapple boy and a dapple headed girl, this morning. Both are absolutely beautiful, show correct, and doing fine! They were 10lb and 8lb respectively, and are lively and active. Eye of the Tiger was the sire, and Iris' past couple of kiddings and produced MASSIVE, fast growing, vigorous kids, so we are expecting GREAT things from these two!

Two more does are due anytime, and three more are due in September, so stay tuned!

AND, by the way.... if you are new on this site, you'll notice some of the blog entries are a bit outdated. You'll also notice that many of those posts (all but one) feature kids not typically Boer-looking... that is because in the past, we were also using Myotonic crosses in our program. We did find them to be exceptionally hardy and easy to work with, and they did well at 4H, as well as were excellent mothers, producers, and just all around easy keepers. But in order to focus more specifically in our marketing and breeding program, we decided to use exclusively papered fullblood and percentage ABGA breeding stock, and have been doing so since these blog entries. You can see many more of those kids and moms via photos on our Facebook page, should you care to peruse there. You'll also see that our quality as well as our colors just keep getting better and better! So please make sure you take a look around at those as well.
